	Welcome to Flyingdragon.bc.com The Flying Dragon Bonsai Club is dedicated to the education of its members in the art and culture of bonsai. We meet the third Sunday of each month at Walter Liew's Hawaii Bonsai Culture Center in Waimanalo. Each meeting will include a presentation of a current member of the club on a topic of his or her own choosing. We encourage you to bring a tree to share with the club. It can be a tree you want to show off or one you need to help with. The purpose of our meeting is to share our knowledge of bonsai. We're a small club looking to build a membership interested in sharing their knowledge of bonsai. If you would like to become a member just attend the next meeting and meet the members. If you still want to join, the annual dues are $20.00 prorate depending on when you become a member. The site will replace the mailing list for all new announcements and updates on meetings etc. Please be sure you double check with this site in case changes come about. 	Prior Bonsai Workshops This bonsai was started 5 years ago as one of my first attempts during Walter's class. It is still doing nicely. This picture was taken after a repotting workshop in 2007. John#2 Workshop Leader
	News and Events July 20, 2008 This months meeting will be at 11:00AM at Walter's Place. New Officers will be nominated this month. Nominations are open for President, Secretary and Treasurer. See you there.
